Residents that park their vehicles on the street should be mindful that they leave enough room for garbage trucks to access their carts for automated collection. The lid opening should face the street with the wheels of the cart facing your house. Place your cart at least 3 feet away from all objects including your mailbox, second cart, car, or tree (see diagram). Carts are included in the service contract and must stay at their delivered address, even if a resident moves to a new address. Do not put out any carts for collection acquired through other means. You must use the carts provided by Waste Management. Most residents will receive a 96 gallon trash cart and a 64 gallon recycling cart. Automated Collectionīeginning in 2022, North Huntingdon Township residents will receive automated waste and recycling collection. To contact Waste Management directly, please call 80.
Residents in the Township are required to use Waste Management as their garbage collector as mandated by Township ordinance.
Waste Management will be North Huntingdon Township’s contracted garbage hauler effective January 1, 2022.
